Cheating Chess

So I created a chess variant.

Most Current Rules
Plays as normal chess, except as follows.


Instead of checkmate, you lose if your king is in check at the end of your turn.


On your turn you may declare an illegal move (moving a piece to a space it can’t legally reach.) If you do, roll a 6 sided die and follow the result below.
1: Your piece is removed from the game, if it was your King, you lose the game.
2: If your piece is a pawn attacking a queen, remove it from the game.
3,4: Nothing happens.
5: If your piece is a pawn attacking any other piece, or a knight, rook, or bishop attacking a queen, then nothing happens. If not, your piece successfully makes the illegal move.
6: Your piece successfully makes the illegal move.

You may not move onto one of your own pieces.

Reminder: Capturing your opponent’s King makes it impossible to put it in check, don’t do it.

One Shot Story System

One Shot Story System
This is designed as a universal system for running murder mysteries and other combative LARPs. It uses the module-based design, like Heist, so if there are particular settings or mechanics you want to integrate, you just have to find the appropriate module. I hesitate to call it a 'party game' unless you are at a very nerdy party. But this should be a quick and fun game for a group of people of fairly arbitrary size.

2 Rule Game

So I found out Go technically only has 2 rules. I had to find out if I could make such a simple game, so here’s my take on it.
Rule 1: Each two player pairing submit secret integer bids to the third player.
Rule 2: If their bids sum to less than 11, each receives that many points.
Scoring: The player with the most points wins.

New Mastery

New Mastery is finally good enough to reveal! It's an extremely combat oriented rpg, with few-to-no mechanics for handling non-combat situations, but since it's exclusively for telling the stories of martial artists, I feel that's a fine trade. Enjoy!

News

Two new things.
1) For those not participating, the Just War Alpha is going great, coming up on the 7th week now, with 2 of the Candidates eliminated. I've already got plans for a streamlined sequel, so check that out linked from the "Updates" page, and sign up below if you want me to let you know when it's ready.
2) My Sin, a new RPG in a style mixing Don't Rest Your Head, Persona, and sprinkles from a few other sources. It's a game about Friendship, Sin, and Acceptance.

Dirt

Dirt is my latest attempt at a narrative RPG. The players are dirty cops in a city of corruption. The setting is currently up in the air, favoring an ambiguous modern city. Rolls are on a d6, and slightly favor the player. The primary themes will be corruption, hard choices, and disaster.
